Week 1...

For now, to make up for the pictures, and the blog layout, which will hopefully improve in time, I can only offer words, and here are the very first ones...

Perhaps I'm a little late, but a new year, means a new you, and a new you means a new blog. So with a new master at my college in Cambridge this week, the time has come for that new blog.

The challenge is a blog post a week for 52 weeks, including pictures. The 52 weeks part is important. Im in my final year at university, I don't know where I'll go next, when, but here, at least those changes can be chartered. The pictures bit is important too, perhaps more important. Over the weeks I hope to learn more and more about my new camera, and how to take pictures, to whom I owe a huge debt to one person for all of my inspiration and ideas and passions. I am totally in awe of her. She's my Tiger, and is right here atigerheart.

So to get to it. Week 1 is two weeks late, but above is the Tiger herself, sparkler in hand on New Year's Eve in Prague, where we spent a truly great week, reminiscent of an amazing time last year perhaps, Tiger? That's to update the last two weeks I missed out on. And this is to update this week. The big news? Apart from the bop on Friday, a termly staple that exists somewhere between a children's dressing up party and something a lot stranger (even the alcohol is disguised behind bright colours and the friendly name 'bop-juice'), and of course the big snow, Magdalene College recently admitted its new Master, the former Arch-Bishop of Canterbury. Despite the pundits doubts, a man with eye-brows like that can only be a good addition to any educational system taking itself too seriously.

Anyway, first picture, lots of room for improvement...
